Programs & Services:
Residential Services (Quality Living Options - QLO)

 

Residential services for adults with developmental disabilities in Colorado are provided in three categories: 1) Group Residential Services and Supports, 2) Individual Services and Supports and 3) Personal Care Alternative settings.

 

Group Residential Services and Supports (GRSS) are provided in settings that serve at least four and no more than eight persons. GRSS settings are licensed by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Twenty-four hour supervision is provided.

 

Individual Services and Supports (IRSS) use a variety of living arrangements individually designed to meet each individuals needs. Individuals may live in a home owned or leased by an agency, their own home or a Host Home. IRSS services are generally provided to no more than two persons receiving services per setting although three person settings are allowed under certain circumstances.

 

Personal Care Alternative programs serve individuals who in host homes or clustered apartments. No more that three individuals may live in any one apartment. Twenty-four hour accessible supervision and supports are available.
