Blue
Ray Media partnered with the Developmental Disabilities Resource Center
to create a Web site that helps the organization create opportunities
for people with developmental disabilities and their families.
The site makes it easy for visitors to find out about all the programs and services offered through the organization, view a calendar of upcoming events and to support the DDRC through online donations or by becoming a volunteer.
The
site is accessible to users with disabilities; it conforms to level Triple-A
of the W3C Web Content Accessibility
Guidelines 1.0, including all Priority
1, Priority
2, and Priority
3 checkpoints defined in the Guidelines. Conformance to these Guidelines
helps make the Web more accessible to users with disabilities and benefits
all users.
Solution highlights:
It's easy for visitors to inquire about volunteer opportunities, learn about news, events and important issues, and to find resources to help them understand developmental disabilities.
Visitors can view an online calendar of events.
Google Search makes it easy to find exactly what's needed.
Staff at the DDRC can update the "Careers" section with current job openings using an easy-to-use tool created by Blue Ray Media.
Accessible to users with disabilities.
